We have had our first snow falls of the 2010/11 ski season with a light scattering down to 1500 metres on the Courchevel side. It has also turned very cold in the last week. The word from our ear to the ground local geriatric French mushroom picker, called Christophe is that we are going to have a very damp winter with lots of snow. Christophe has science and nature on his side here proving his theory, it is because there are lots of bees this summer, this means it won’t be dry and extremely cold, therefore humid with lots of snow. So there we have it, an exclusive and who needs Michael Fish anyway!
